A families’ involvement in their child’s care and education is recognized as the single most important factor in school success and achievement. In early childhood education, a range of opportunities for family involvement is provided. Involvement may include volunteering, class visitation, sharing of a skill, reading a story, parent conferences, home visitations, attendance at building events and ongoing communication. We encourage families to actively participate throughout their child’s enrollment with us.
The reason I wanted my children to come here was because of the diversity. They have an appreciation for the needs of other children, healthy foods, art, gardening and the structure of the organization and building.
Stacey, Community Peer Program
I’m most proud of the children with their innocence, joy, and the comments they make.
Laura, Preschool Teacher
I am grateful that my son is able to come to this nurturing environment every day. It’s like our second home. The care and enthusiasm of the staff are the best and very hard to find. I love this place!
