The Ohio State University operates a full service dental program onsite at Early Childhood Education and Family Center, 2879 Johnstown Rd. Columbus, OH 43219. A full time pediatric dentist and assistants serve the community and provide pediatric dental services to children up to 18 years of age enrolled in the center as well throughout the community. Children with and without disabilities are served. Method of payment for services includes private insurance, Medicaid, and payments based on sliding scale.

The Ohio State University Nisonger Center, The Ohio Department of Health and the Franklin County Board of DD are working in partnership to provide Dental Care to children. The Nisonger Center Access to Dental Care Project provides preventive, diagnostic, and restorative dental care for underserved, low income infant, toddler and preschool age children with and without disabilities. This service is provided for children and their siblings who are without a “dental home”.
